Hyderabad, Dec. 21: The Chief Minister, Mr K. Rosaiah, on Monday made fun of the Vijayawada MP, Mr Lagadapati Rajagopal, who got himself admitted to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences in city.
Speaking to mediapersons, the Chief Minister said Mr Rajagopal reached city in a filmi style. Responding to a question on whether the mental condition of the MP was normal, he said the doctors would verify this aspect also while conducting other health checks.
On the government releasing bulletins about the health condition of Mr Rajagopal, the Chief Minister said the former appeared to have come running and jumped on to the hospital bed. We will think of bulletins if the situation warrants, he said. He also reminded that bulletins about the TRS chief, Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s health were released only after a situation had developed.
Mr Rosaiah said there were different stories about the cinematic escape of Rajagopal. According to one version, the MP travelled on a bike for sometime and then shifted into Qualis and disappeared before travelling on a Safari. One or two cameras picturised his movements though it is publicised that he was missing, he pointed out.
Responding to a question, he said Mr Rajagopal had requested the government to shift him to Nims
